The program assists clients to:

• Access Funding for Training – This program offers eligible clients access to funding for training that will assist the applicant with the quickest route to re-employment in occupations that offer long-term, full-time employment opportunities. 

Eligibility criteria for training funding:

• Currently receiving Employment Insurance Benefits, or

• Received Employment Insurance Benefits ending within the previous 36 months, or

• Received Employment Insurance Benefits, which started in the previous 60 months and on which they were paid maternity or parental benefits.
