Current Funded Employment Programs
Get Youth Working! Program
The Program offers employers a hiring incentive (in the form of a wage subsidy) as an incentive to hire eligible youth age 15 - 29. Additionally, employers may request up to $1,000 to purchase training for the new hire.
Canada BC Job Grant
The Canada-BC Job Grant assists eligible employers by covering up to two-thirds of the cost of training an employee, to a maximum government contribution of $10,000 per individual per fiscal year, or 100% of the training costs, to a maximum of $15,000 in government contribution per individual per fiscal year for the Unemployed stream.
Career Focus Wage Subsidy Program
Career Focus helps to move skilled / educated BC Youth into the labour market by making it easier for BC businesses to hire.
