Canada BC Job Grant
The Canada-BC Job Grant assists eligible employers by covering up to two-thirds of the cost of training an employee, to a maximum government contribution of $10,000 per individual per fiscal year, or 100% of the training costs, to a maximum of $15,000 in government contribution per individual per fiscal year for the Unemployed stream.
Get Youth Working! Program
If you are age 15 - 29, the Get Youth Working! Program can help you gain full-time employment. The Program offers employers a $2,800 hiring incentive (in the form of a wage subsidy) to hire you over other candidates. Additionally, your new employer may request up to $1,000 to purchase training for you!
